What is the National Center for Healthy Veterans?
Located in Altavista, Virginia, the purpose for the National Center for Healthy Veterans is to return healthy veterans to America through physical, mental, spiritual, emotional, and relational wellness.
Valor Farm believes community is a primary antidote to isolation, loneliness, and broken relationships. Residents will experience a renewed sense of community and camaraderie in the National Center for Healthy Veteran Villages and will form lasting bonds of friendship. Formerly homeless veterans will not only have a place to live, but also a place to thrive and contribute.
Faith Focus: Faith makes a difference. Faith-based recovery programs can achieve a rapid impact on the most prevalent veteran mental and behavioral health issues. The National Center for Healthy Veterans will focus on best practice, faith-based, empirically driven programs & protocols to create a model for national implementation
