An annual one-day CrossFit challenge dedicated to honoring the brave American patriots who sacrificed for the United States, while raising awareness of the 22 veterans who tragically lose their lives to suicide each day.

Participants also wear a weighted vest equivalent to 20 pounds to represent the gear worn by soldiers in combat
The Murph Challenge is a fitness event that honors Lieutenant Michael P. Murphy, a U.S. Navy SEAL officer who was killed in action in Afghanistan. Lieutenant Murphy was awarded the Medal of Honor for his heroic actions during Operation Red Wings where he sacrificed his life for the safety of his squad. The challenge was created to commemorate his selflessness, sacrifice, and dedication to service.
